KMC Music is pleased to announce that Becker Symphony Satin stringed instruments will be offered in all larger sizes for 2010.
Becker stringed instruments are crafted in Romania from fine aged tonewoods with a solid spruce top (laminated body on cello/bass), lightly flamed maple back and sides, solid maple scroll, pegbox and neck, inlaid purfling, full ebony trim, and finished in warm brown satin lacquer. All are equipped with D’Addario Prelude strings, four Wittner string adjusters and Wittner tail gut adjuster, with German machine heads and select European strings supplied on bass. The instruments are fully set up and shop adjusted at KMC’s bowed instrument center to meet MENC specifications.
Symphony Series instruments are available in several outfit configurations with choice of wood horsehair or Glasser horsehair bow, and choice of TKL Zero Gravity, SKB molded or SKB sculpted cases for violin/viola, and deluxe TKL bags for cello/bass. Retail prices for violin outfits range from $514-$579, viola outfits $579-$609, cello outfits $1529-$1549 and bass outfits $2379-$2479. |
